2. The Missing Gun
Ma Shan is woken by his angry wife and as he dresses for work, he realizes he has lost his gun. As a police officer in small town China, this is a very serious offense. He frantically begins searching for it by retracing his steps. He\'d gotten drunk the night before at a wedding and must have \"lost\" it there. He tracks down numerous guests, but can\'t find his gun. Then his ex-girlfriend winds up dead, killed with his gun. Can he find it before more people are killed?

In the future, the Greenhouse Effect has taken place on a now ravaged Earth covered in water, and a mysterious drifter aids a mother and daughter in seeking Dryland, a mythical place that a group of savage bandits seek out as well.

When petty thief Cosimo (Luis Guzman) is given the plan for the perfect heist from a lifer in prison - the kind of job you dream about - he has to get out of jail, fast. But with Cosimo stuck in the joint, it\'s up to his girl Rosalind (Patricia Clarkson) to track down a patsy. But while no one wants to do the time for Cosimo\'s crime, everybody seems to know a guy who will - and for a share, they\'re willing to track him down. Before long, Rosalind has five guys trailing behind her, looking to get their bungling hands on a piece of the action.

Two media moguls vie for ownership of a pro football team, at first they play by their own rules of fair game but then it gets dirty. In an attempt to out do one another each one makes it more personal as their own greed and ambition takes their toll on their families, companies and employees.
6. We're Talking Serious Money
Comedy about two misfit men who lose a borrowed ten grand from a mob kingpin and must flee from NY to LA, only to there get involved in a caper involving a video of Senators in compromising positions. Given a cool million for the video, they are then pursued for the money, which brings about a surprise ending to the film, as well as to their bungling adventures.
7. What Planet Are You From?
A highly-evolved planet, whose denizens feel no emotion and reproduce by cloning, plans to take over Earth from the inside by sending an operative, fashioned with a humming, mechanical penis, to impregnate an earthling and stay until the birth. The alien, Harold Anderson, goes to Phoenix as a banker and sets to work finding a mate. His approaches to women are inept, and the humming phallus doesn\'t help, but on the advice of a banking colleague, he cruises an AA meeting, meets Susan, and somehow convinces her to marry. The clock starts to tick: will she conceive, have a baby, and lose Harold (and the child) to his planet before he discovers emotion and starts to care?
