For our Design Center in Sofia, part of JCI Automotive Group, we are now seeking you (m/f) as:
PCB Design Engineer
Your responsibilities:
Responsible for designing PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts
• Designing complete PCB layouts from the Hardware and Mechanical input data.
• Updating and enhancing PCB layouts from previous revision and new input data.
• Proposing if necessary layout or hardware schematic improvement, and applying them only if approved by the product and/or central team.
• Taking into account, applying and verifying all PCB design constraints guidelines defined the central engineering team.
• Taking into account, applying and verifying all PCB design constraints requirements defined by the product team.
• Upon approval all the output data will be generated, packaged and delivered to central engineering team (the PCB layouts will be managed and validated by the central layout team, the layouts will be approved by the product team).
• Creating and/or updating component symbols or footprints for the Mentor tools and database.
• Designing Libraries elements: symbols or footprint ( when needed for preparing a layout or when overload in the library team )
Your qualifications:
• University degree in electronics
• Experience in developing PCB layouts, concrete understanding of the PCB design process and best practices.
• Knowledge of hardware design.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Because Johnson Controls operates internationally, very good English is important for the position. It is an advantage for you to have knowledge in French or German languages.
